Day 2

One of the most stressful times during an event like this is the unloading of container. Generally this comes hand in hand with a large does of jet lag which tends to compound matters.
So far we've unloaded the Games boat and the tuning partners boat and we're just about to assemble the keels and crane them in in Ying Hai Marina (about 2k from the village).

Got some time to catch up with Jez Fanstone (Ben Ainsley's coach) today and he highlighted that the Games is the same as any regatta except different. The medalists were the guys that sailed the best regatta while still being able to shut out the noise of the circus that is the Olympic Games.

"The name of the regatta doesn't change the breeze" Victor Kovalenko AUS 470 Coach
