Registration done...Measurement next!

The boat park had a hum of anticipation today as the regatta draws nearer. We had registration this morning which is a paper pushing ritual that happens at the beginning of every international regatta. The trick is to get in early and get it done so that's exactly what we did.

Yesterday was a pivot day in our preparations as we draw a line under our development program and started focusing on race trim. Its frustrating as there's still so much I wanted to do, but you have to know when to stop! Breeze was pretty good today as the forecasted light sea breeze built mid afternoon to 10kts. From now on in its about doing the basics well and that means starting well, getting the shifts right and gaining boat lengths at every mark rounding.
